Wild Bee Honey is unlocked after completing Companion For The Alpaca and talking to the Merchant.

Guide

After talking to the merchant, he will mark the Forest Bee location on your map. Go there with the Bee Smoker and smoke the forest bees until you can approach the big tree. Loot the Honey and catch at least 50 forest bees while you're here for the next quest.

Once loot the Honey of the Forest Bees, take it back to the merchant. Upon completion, the merchant will give you an additional $100 currency.
