Cooking in action.

Cooking is one of the various forms of crafting that can be done in Everdream Valley.

In order to cook, the player must interact with the Summer kitchen/Cooking Station on the farm after its repaired (Requires 5x Wood). From there the player has a choice to cook from a list of learned recipes or experiment with any ingredients. Some recipes are obtained through Quests, while others can be obtained by experimenting or getting them randomly from X marked rocks. Once ready, the player must perform a minigame to cook up their dish, pressing in the direction shown and releasing the button when the gauge is in the green.

As of Patch 1.5, players may now cook a dish Perfectly (hit the green bar all 3 times when in the mini-game) 10 times to unlock auto-cooking for that recipe/dish. The auto-cook option can be found on the recipe's page in the Cooking Station.

Ingredients

Ingredients are necessary to cook anything. There are two different types of Ingredients: Solids and Liquids. Up to 6 solid and up to 2 liquid ingredients can be used to cook any one dish. (There are a handful of exceptions to this, namely the Mashed Potatoes.)
