Unlocking
Magic Lantern is unlocked after completing Mysterious Hut and talking to Ramenedes in your dream.

Guide
After Ramenedes talks to you in your dream, he gives you this quest and the recipe to craft a Magic Lantern. All you have to do is complete the Blue Fireflies Dream until you have collected 10 of the Blue Fireflies and then craft the lantern (You will also need 5x Wood and 6x Board/Plank).
After crafting the Magic Lantern, you will now have control of your nightly dreams. You can choose which dream mini-game to do each night you have the Magic Lantern in your inventory.
At some point after completing the Magic Lantern, you Mom will pop by to see how your summer is going in a short cutscene. The game will show you a fun little progress report with your stats so far in the game. When you are done viewing it, Mom will tell you that you can go home now! But you have so much left to do on the farm... And those geese look like they are up to something...
- As of Patch 1.3, the credits roll (thanks to all the devs for their work!) and then you can get back to your farm. There are currently no further quests after this point - time to just enjoy farming, raising your animals, and collecting everything you missed! And wait for the next update, of course.
